Application Description

Harness the power of an OBD2 engine ECU diagnostics tool with a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter to unlock detailed insights into your vehicle's performance. This versatile application is designed to work seamlessly with the ELM327 OBDII adapter, allowing you to access real-time data from various electronic vehicle blocks. Visualize this data through dynamic graphics, which you can save and review at your convenience. The tool not only displays and resets engine fault codes and DTC trouble codes but also offers the flexibility to set custom min/max values for each sensor/PID. When these thresholds are met, an alert is triggered, keeping you informed and proactive about your car's health.

This diagnostics app supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters, with a recommendation to use adapters version 1.5 due to reported issues with version 2.1. Keep in mind that ELM327 chips are compatible only with vehicles that support OBD2 standards:

  • Cars manufactured in the USA since 1996
  • In European countries since 2001 for gasoline cars and 2003 for diesel
  • In Japan since approximately 2000

Beyond standard OBDII parameters, the app supports specialized parameters for a wide range of car brands, including:

  • BMW (DIESEL, E91+AT)
  • BYD (MT20U, ABS)
  • Chery (MT20U, MT20U2, ActecoME797)
  • Chrysler/Dodge (DIESEL, AT)
  • Citroen (C4, C5, Sagem2000, CAN/AT6, EDC16C3, MEV17.4.2)

  • Ford (ECU, PWM/AT, PWM/ABS, CAN/DIESEL, CAN/AT, CAN/TPMS, CAN/ABS)
  • Geely (MT20U, MT20U2, M797)
  • GM/Chevrolet/Pontiac (ECU, AT, ABS, SiriusD42)
  • GreatWall (MT20U2, EOBD, CAN/4D20)
  • Honda (Fit, Accord, CRV/DIESEL, Insight)
  • Jeep (ECU, DIESEL, AT, TPMS)

Please note that not all PIDs listed for a specific car brand may be supported by your vehicle. For ease of use, you can select the types of required PIDs in the "Settings / PID types" section. For certain car brands, such as some Mitsubishi models, you can even control various systems like turning on a cooling fan or a gasoline pump.

For Mitsubishi models with a CAN bus (Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2, etc.), reading MUT parameters and controlling actuators requires setting up a profile with the ISO 9141-2 protocol. For reading CAN parameters, use the ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) protocol or let it select automatically. Note that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2 connectivity, so you have ample opportunities to customize your parameters.
