NetEase Ends Dead by Daylight Mobile Service

NetEase has officially announced the end of service (EOS) for their horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. Yes, the game is heading to its final chapter after a thrilling 4-year run since its worldwide release on Android in April 2020. If you've never experienced the chills of this game, it's a 4v1 horror-survival mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit, Dead by Daylight, which first launched on PC in June 2016. While the mobile version is shutting down, fans can rest assured that the PC and console versions will continue to operate smoothly.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile, players can take on the role of either a Killer or a Survivor in a tense game of hide and seek. As a Killer, your mission is to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while as a Survivor, your goal is to evade the Killer and stay alive.

When is the Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS?

The Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS is scheduled for March 20th, 2025. Until January 16th, 2025, the game will remain available for download on app stores, but after that date, new downloads will no longer be possible.

If you already have the game installed, you can continue playing until the final shutdown on March 20th, 2025. Regarding refunds, NetEase is managing them in accordance with each region's laws, and more detailed information on the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

For those eager to keep the Dead by Daylight experience alive, you can switch to the PC or console versions. There's a special Welcome Package awaiting players who make the transition. Additionally, if you've invested money or earned XP in the mobile version, you'll be eligible for loyalty rewards upon switching.

That concludes our update on the Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS. If you're interested in giving it a try before the servers go offline, you can find it on the Google Play Store.
