How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
New monsters are continually added to E.R.P.O., making it essential to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on each monster, complete with strategies to defeat them. While each monster has specific weaknesses, you can also utilize various weapons:
Melee Combat: Equip yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These weapons will spawn in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to inflict damage. When facing ranged monsters like the Huntsman, adopt a hit-and-run strategy and carry healing packs to mitigate melee damage.
Explosives: Grenades and Mines are also available in the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and either throw it or leave it on the ground to explode for significant damage, potentially eliminating weaker monsters and severely impacting tougher ones. Mines require placement and a monster to trigger them.
Monster Brawl: Cleverly manipulate monster interactions to your advantage. Lure a Huntsman into shooting another monster by positioning yourself behind the target and making noise. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other's attack paths for mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)
The Robe, a shadowy figure, can be particularly dangerous as it will grab and damage you upon contact. Your best bet is to crouch and hide or keep moving to avoid its grasp. Baiting it into traps like Grenades or Mines can effectively take it down, but avoid melee combat due to its high damage output. Be wary; the Robe teleports and accelerates toward you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide
The Reaper, recognizable by its raggedy doll appearance and spinning sword arms, is a melee-focused threat. While it can be kited and avoided similar to the Robe, it lacks teleportation abilities, making it more manageable in melee combat. A single grenade combined with a few melee hits can eliminate it, and explosives will also stun it, giving you an opening to attack.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)
These seemingly harmless ducks become aggressive only when provoked through direct contact or environmental hazards. Once enraged, they relentlessly pursue you, but their low damage output and health make them manageable. Outrunning them or using melee weapons is the best strategy, with grenades being an overkill option.
Huntsman
The Huntsman, a blind marksman with a deadly gun, relies on sound to locate you. Avoid detection by crouching and hiding under tables, and steer clear of melee confrontations due to its one-shot capability. Strategically place mines or throw grenades from a crouched position to disorient it temporarily, allowing you to close in for a melee attack.
