Strategic Use of Tarot Cards

Due to their inherent risk, utilizing Tarot Cards in a safe zone (near a hiding spot or the entrance) is recommended. This precaution allows for a quicker escape should an unfavorable card, such as Death, be drawn.

Each card instantly activates upon use, with the exception of "The Fool," which produces no effect. A maximum of 10 cards can be drawn without impacting sanity levels. Duplicate cards yield identical effects.

Understanding Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia

Cursed Possessions (or Cursed Objects) are randomly generated items in Phasmophobia, offering gameplay advantages but at significant risk to the player. Unlike standard equipment, these items directly influence ghost behavior, potentially accelerating investigation but also increasing the chances of character death. Only one Cursed Possession appears per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), each spawning in a predetermined location. Seven Cursed Possessions exist in the game: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.
