Disney Dreamlight Valley's Storybook Vale expansion introduces a delightful array of new ingredients, but some, like Mussels, can be a bit elusive. These tasty mollusks, surprisingly adept at water filtration, are a key ingredient in several new recipes. However, their spawning locations can be tricky.
Finding Mussels in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Mussels are found only in specific Mythopia biomes. You can forage for them in:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue's Shadow
- Mount Olympus
While some players find Mussels readily in these areas, others report more sporadic appearances. Certain locations, such as near Trials (like the one in the Elysian Fields where you unlock Hades), may yield better results. Interestingly, a cluster of Mussels can sometimes be found hidden behind the secret bush area in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area may increase Mussel spawns across Mythopia.
Using Your Mussels
Unlike some other seafood, Mussels aren't used in crafting. Their culinary purpose lies in these Storybook Vale recipes:
