What is *Sunrise on the Reaping* About?
The fifth book in *The Hunger Games* series, *Sunrise on the Reaping*, is set 40 years after *The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes* and 24 years before Katniss Everdeen's story. The novel focuses on the Second Quarter Quell, won by Haymitch Abernathy, the mentor for District 12 in the original trilogy and portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the films.
