Dive into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, the cooperative horror game where physics play a pivotal role in your mission to retrieve valuables across various maps with up to six players. To ensure your efforts aren't lost, understanding how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* is crucial.

Nothing is more disheartening than booting up your favorite game, expecting to resume where you left off, only to find your progress has vanished. This issue is particularly frustrating with new releases like *R.E.P.O.*, where the saving mechanics might not be immediately clear. Not all games feature autosaves, and some require specific actions or locations before you can safely pause your adventure.

In *R.E.P.O.*, the key to saving your game lies in completing the level you're currently on. The game does not offer a manual save option, meaning if you quit during a retrieval mission or die, leading to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost, and you'll need to restart that level from scratch. Upon death in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is wiped out, and exiting mid-level forces you to begin that section anew.

To save your game, you must successfully complete a level by delivering your collected valuables to the Extraction Point, then make your way to the truck. Once inside the truck, hold the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that you're ready to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop for necessary items and, using the same button, advance to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station, you'll reach your next location, and it's here that you can safely exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or your host (if someone else created the save file) restarts *R.E.P.O.*, you can continue from where you left off. Remember, if you're playing with a host, they need to exit at the correct time to ensure the game saves properly. Once the host exits, all other players will be disconnected.
