Jason Sudeikis, the star and producer of the beloved Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso," has officially confirmed that the show is gearing up for a fourth season. This exciting news was shared during his appearance on the "New Heights" sports podcast, hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce. In a snippet from the podcast's latest episode, Sudeikis revealed that the writing for Season 4 is currently underway, sparking joy and anticipation among fans who have been eagerly awaiting updates since the conclusion of Season 3 in the summer of 2023.

Sudeikis teased that in the upcoming season, Ted Lasso will be coaching a women's team, marking a fresh and intriguing direction for the series. While the setting and whether this will be the final season remain undisclosed, the announcement alone has reignited excitement for the feel-good soccer series.

Adding to the anticipation, Deadline reports that Juno Temple, who plays Keeley, is in negotiations to reprise her role, joining the confirmed returning cast members Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca, Brett Goldstein as Roy, and Jeremy Swift as Leslie. It's also noted that the first episode of Season 4 is set to be filmed in Kansas City before the action moves back to the UK, with production slated to begin in July.

Apple TV+ is already working to rekindle the public's interest in "Ted Lasso." Although specific release dates and plot details are still under wraps, the show's official X/Twitter account playfully acknowledged its long hiatus with a post saying, "Finally found the dang password to this thing.
