In the thrilling world of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, players of all skill levels and chosen difficulty settings will inevitably encounter damage as they navigate through their gameplay experience. Newcomers to the franchise might quickly find themselves in need of healing. Fortunately, the process of restoring health in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* is quite user-friendly, requiring the use of a special consumable item. The game also offers a convenient auto-healing feature, perfect for those who prefer not to constantly monitor their health bar and decide the optimal moment to heal.
How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
In line with the tradition of previous Dynasty Warriors titles, healing in Dynasty Warriors: Origins involves the use of meat buns. These essential items can be discovered by breaking pots scattered around enemy bases. Additionally, on the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings, players have the chance to obtain meat buns as drops from defeated Enemy Officers. However, this feature is not available on the more challenging Hero and Ultimate Warrior settings, where officers no longer drop these healing items.
To utilize a meat bun during battle, players need only press Up on the D-Pad, provided they have at least one in their inventory. If a player's inventory is full at the time of collecting a meat bun, it will be automatically consumed unless their health is already at full capacity, in which case it remains on the ground. Initially, players can carry up to three meat buns, but this capacity can be expanded with the "Meat Bun Glutton" skill for those who find three insufficient.
For players who prefer a more hands-off approach to healing, the "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option can be activated in the Configuration menu. This feature automatically consumes meat buns when the player's health drops below a predetermined threshold. Even with this option enabled, players can still manually use meat buns, making it a versatile choice for any play style. Enabling this feature is recommended, even if you don't plan to rely on it entirely.
