If you're a Genshin Impact enthusiast playing on Android, exciting news awaits! The much-anticipated controller support is finally rolling out with Version 5.5. Android users have been eagerly waiting for this feature, which iOS players have enjoyed since 2021.
When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?
Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, as that's when you'll be able to enhance your Genshin Impact experience by connecting your Android device to a controller. This update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.
Beyond controller support, Version 5.5 brings a host of quality-of-life improvements. One such enhancement is cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to seamlessly monitor your quests across different areas. Simply open the map and teleport to your desired destination with ease.
Newer players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will offer better insights into enemy mechanics. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. The full details of these updates will be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
