As the much-anticipated Invincible: Season 3 approaches, Prime Video has unveiled an exciting new lineup of voice actors set to join the series. Among them are Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu stepping into the role of Dupli-Kate’s brother, Multi-Paul. However, the most captivating additions to the cast are shrouded in mystery: Jonathan Banks from Breaking Bad and Doug Bradley, renowned for his role as Pinhead in the Hellraiser series. Prime Video has kept their characters under wraps, likely to preserve the suspense for some major plot developments in the upcoming season.

The big question on fans' minds is which characters Banks and Bradley will portray. Additionally, the rapid aging of Christian Convery's character, Oliver Grayson, and his new role as Invincible's sidekick, have sparked curiosity about his impact on the series. Here's an in-depth look at the key new characters expected in Season 3.

Jonathan Banks as Conquest

Jonathan Banks, known for his role in Breaking Bad, joins Invincible: Season 3 in an undisclosed role. However, speculation points strongly toward him playing Conquest, a formidable Viltrumite villain introduced in Invincible #61 in 2009. Conquest embodies the quintessential hardened warrior, bearing the scars of countless battles. His arrival on Earth brings an ultimatum from the Viltrumite Empire: Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, must conquer his homeworld, or face death at Conquest's hands, leading to one of the most intense battles in Mark's life.

Season 2 laid the groundwork for this epic confrontation, as Mark grappled with his father's legacy as Earth's potential conqueror. In Season 3, we anticipate seeing this setup come to fruition, with Mark, still young and inexperienced, forced to stand against the seasoned Viltrumite. His survival and the fate of Earth hinge on this battle.

Who Is Doug Bradley Playing in Invincible Season 3?

While Banks seems destined to voice Conquest, the character Doug Bradley will portray remains a tantalizing mystery. Given his iconic portrayal of Pinhead, Bradley is likely to voice another villain. Two likely candidates emerge from the comic series: Dinosaurus, introduced in Invincible #68, and Grand Regent Thragg, a key antagonist first seen in Invincible #11.

Dinosaurus, with his mission to heal the world from humanity's impact, could be an intriguing fit for Bradley's voice, adding depth to the character's somewhat cartoonish appearance. Alternatively, Bradley could lend his menacing charisma to Grand Regent Thragg, the ruler of the Viltrumite Empire and a pivotal villain in the Invincible saga. Though we might not see much of Thragg in Season 3, his introduction could set the stage for future conflicts.

Christian Convery’s Oliver Grayson

Introduced in Season 2, Oliver Grayson, Mark's half-brother, is a unique blend of Thraxan and Viltrumite heritage, distinguished by his purple skin and accelerated aging. By Season 3, Oliver, now played by Christian Convery, will appear as a preteen, showcasing his rapid development. His powers, which include superhuman strength and flight, manifest much earlier than Mark's did, setting the stage for Oliver to become Kid Omni-Man and join Invincible in battle.

Oliver's role will be significant moving forward, not only as a powerful ally but also as a potential vulnerability for Mark. As Invincible navigates his hero journey, he must also mentor his younger brother, balancing the thrill of having a sidekick with the fear of endangering a loved one.
