Clash of Clans is set to roll out a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to player demands that have been voiced for years. This update promises to be one of the most significant changes in the game's history, with several features soon to be a thing of the past.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Say goodbye to waiting times! With the new update, you can launch back-to-back attacks without any delays, making your battles more fast-paced and thrilling than ever before. Hero recovery time is also being eliminated, ensuring your heroes stay in the action. This change will benefit players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will retain its eight-battle limit per day for the time being.
This major shift is part of Clash of Clans' broader move to remove outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, Supercell is now eliminating training time entirely, allowing players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out as they become obsolete. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
When there aren't enough real bases to attack, the new Match Anytime system will let you engage with snapshot bases. These are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles work just like normal ones, allowing you to gain loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
In addition, due to the increased number of battles per session, the number of trophies earned from victories will be reduced. Clan Castle request timers are also being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
