Children of Morta, a captivating action RPG with roguelite elements, has finally arrived on mobile devices. Originally launched in 2019, this title, developed by Dead Mage and published on mobile by Playdigious, evokes comparisons to The Banner Saga.
A Family's Epic Struggle
At its heart, Children of Morta centers on the Bergson family, valiant protectors of Rea for generations. Now, an ancient evil, known as the Corruption, threatens their world, forcing the family to confront a formidable foe.
The game features seven playable Bergson family members, each with unique upgradeable skills and gear. Each playthrough offers a distinct experience thanks to procedurally generated dungeons. Players can strategically switch between characters to best tackle the challenges presented.
Beyond the hack-and-slash combat, Children of Morta boasts a deeply emotional narrative exploring themes of love, loss, sacrifice, and hope. The strong familial bonds and their willingness to protect one another form the emotional core of the game.

The mobile release offers the Complete Edition, including the Ancient Spirits and Paws and Claws DLCs. An upcoming online co-op mode will allow players to team up with friends. Priced at $8.99, a 30% launch discount is currently available on the Google Play Store.
