Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
On March 26, the official Bloodlines 2 Twitter (X) account announced the game's new release date and shared a video update. In the video, Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the current development status, stating, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Over the past few months, Paradox has been keeping fans in the loop with Dev Diaries, detailing characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused, allowing the developers to focus on elevating the final product.
First Revealed in 2019
Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, with an initial release planned for March 2020. Developed by Hardsuit Labs, the project saw its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, followed by another push to 2021. Amidst these delays, several key team members departed, leading to a significant shift in February 2021 when Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved. The Chinese Room took over development, setting a new target for late 2024, which was later revised to the first half of 2025, and now, finally, to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is scheduled for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned to our updates for the latest news on the game's development and eventual release!
