The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, titled "Shining Revelry," has brought a dazzling array of over 110 new cards to the game, including shiny variants that have collectors and players buzzing with excitement. The expansion introduces cards from the Paldea region, adding even more variety to your collection. As soon as the update dropped, I couldn't resist using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs, and I was thrilled to pull a Charizard EX, though the rest of my haul was less exciting. However, drawing the Pokémon Center Lady card was a pleasant surprise, as her ability to heal Special Conditions could be a game-changer when facing opponents who rely on inflicting Burn or other status effects.
With the release of this expansion, Pokémon TCG Pocket also introduces a new Emblem event, allowing players to earn stylish badges to show off to their friends. More excitingly, the game now features Ranked Matches, where you can test your skills against other Trainers. Starting from Beginner and aiming for the Master Ball Rank, you'll earn points and receive an emblem at the end of the season, which lasts approximately one month. It's time to dust off my deck-building skills and get ready for some serious competition.
