Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive in Call of Duty

Activision has announced a thrilling crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! This isn't the first time these shelled heroes have graced an Activision shooter, and fans are eager to see what's in store.

While details remain scarce – Activision only promises a launch "soon" – CODWarfareForum has leaked some unconfirmed information. Speculation points towards operator skins for all four Turtles (though the absence of April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and Shredder is disappointing to some). New melee weapons are also rumored, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff, perfectly suited for close-quarters combat and stylish finishers. The Grind map, a skatepark, is reportedly the central location for the crossover events.

However, the excitement is tempered by the current state of Black Ops Cold War. The game is struggling with numerous bugs and a persistent cheater problem, leading to a significant decline in its player base. This collaboration feels somewhat ill-timed, raising questions about its effectiveness and longevity amidst the game's ongoing challenges.
