The 2023 G3, one generation prior to the current G4 (with no G5 yet released), surpasses all other LG TVs—OLED or otherwise—except for its 2024 successor. The G-series OLED outperforms the C-series. Both boast brighter "Evo" panels than traditional W-OLED models, but the G-series adds MLA (micro lens array) technology for even greater brightness. This increases the cost, but delivers image quality rivaling or exceeding Samsung's Quantum Dot OLED TVs.
OLED TVs are generally considered the best on the market. Compared to LED LCD TVs, they offer superior image quality, deeper blacks, higher contrast, a wider color gamut, and incredibly fast response times. These advantages make OLED TVs ideal for 4K HDR content. LG's OLED TVs benefit from years of refinement and optimization.
