Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the variety of weapons available caters to every player's unique playstyle. Among these, you'll find special named variants with enhanced modifications or increased power, such as the Cavalier sniper rifle. This exceptional weapon features a red-dot sight rather than a traditional magnification scope, making it particularly effective at short to medium ranges. Here’s a detailed guide on how to obtain this unique rifle.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To acquire the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. It's located near the Military Unit inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously accessed the Duga base for the Journalist stash, you can easily enter through the second entrance.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate to the Military Unit building, which is marked on your map. Your goal is to reach the greenhouse behind the building, not to enter the building itself. Be vigilant as two Pseudogiants patrol the area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid a confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in a warehouse. Be prepared for an immediate threat as swarms of rats will spawn and begin to drain your health. To escape the rats, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. Use a grenade to clear out the rat swarm effectively.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, look up towards the ceiling above the entryway connecting to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to drop down.

Secure the weapon and make a safe exit from the Duga base. To enhance the Cavalier's performance, visit Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades. The Cavalier boasts maximum damage and great accuracy, which can be further improved with additional modifications. For players who prefer not to use a scope on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier is an excellent choice, equipped with a red-dot sight that's perfect for close to medium-range engagements.
