Girls' Frontline Spinoff, Project NET, Opens Pre-Registration and Beta Test

Project NET, the highly anticipated third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls' Frontline franchise, has commenced pre-registration and a limited beta test.

Pre-Registration is Live!

Announced on March 3rd, 2025, via the official SEA (South East Asian) and RU (Russian) Twitter (X) accounts, players can now pre-register for Project NET. Simply visit the official SEA or RU website and provide your email address and preferred device (iOS or Android).

Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (Android)

A limited-access, non-monetized beta test, dubbed the "Shock Point Test," is currently underway in the Philippines (Android only). Registration closed on March 4th, 2025. All test data will be wiped after completion. A similar test is also running in Russia. Further global testing is planned.

The anticipated confirmation email window for those who participated in the Shock Point Test is between March 24th and 26th, 2025. Additional test participant selections will occur throughout the testing period.

Project NET's Origins

Initially unveiled on December 27th, 2024, by Sunborn Network (creators of Girls' Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized test in several SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th to 16th, 2025.

Building upon the success of Girls' Frontline (launched in 2016) and its recent sequel, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5th, 2024), Project NET promises familiar characters and art style within its third-person shooter gameplay.

A release date for Project NET remains unannounced. Based on the initial test, the game will support both iOS and Android devices.
