Marvel Snap's Legacy Season: New Captain America, Characters, and Locations!
This month in Marvel Snap, legacy takes center stage! Sam Wilson assumes the mantle of Captain America, introducing exciting new gameplay mechanics. Several other characters join the fray, adding strategic depth and fresh challenges.
Sam Wilson's arrival is marked by a Season Pass showcasing his transformation from Falcon to Captain America. His card ability introduces Cap's Shield at the start of each match, randomly placed on the board. This movable Shield, indestructible but boosting Sam's power by +2 when in his location, adds a dynamic element to matches.
February brings a wave of new characters: Joaquín Torres (February 4th), Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross (February 11th), Redwing (February 18th), and Diamondback (February 25th). These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache.
Two new locations are also introduced, altering strategic approaches:
- Smithsonian Museum: Provides an extra +1 Power per Ongoing card.
- Madripoor: Boosts the highest-cost card by +2 Power each turn.
These locations encourage diverse deckbuilding strategies, demanding adaptability from players.
