White Steam Deck Will Only Be Available While Supplies Last

Valve is rolling out a white limited edition of the Steam Deck OLED, aptly named "Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White." The white Steam Deck will be available worldwide starting November 18, 2024 3PM PST. The limited edition Steam Deck costs $679 USD. Outside of North America and Europe, Steam Deck's Limited Edition White model can be shipped to regions, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia.

The Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White is available only in limited quantities, with stock allocated proportionally across each region, confirmed Valve. The model's availability across the US, CA, UK, EU, AU, and the Komodo regions will vary, but generally, Valve restricts purchases to 1 unit per account. In addition, accounts that are used to purchase the new Steam Deck must have made a Steam purchase before November 2024 and be in good standing. Valve added that as this is a limited edition release, they "will not be making more of this particular design. Once we are sold out, we will be sold out."

White Steam Deck Will Only Be Available While Supplies Last

Steam Deck fans have been dreaming about a gleaming white colorway for the Steam Deck ever since it was teased as a prototype during the Steam Deck presentation in 2021. Of course, it wasn't for sale at the initial time and fans only got to get their hands on the jet black variants. "This is a prototype only. We love it too, but we’re not able to bring it to market at the same time we’re shipping the Steam Deck," Valve’s Greg Coomer said at the time, additionally remarking that they plan to "look at other color options in the future."
