Wuthering Waves' Version 2.1 Phase II update arrives March 6th, bringing a wave of new events, Resonator and weapon banners, and exciting rewards. Let's dive into the details.
What's New?
The Companion Story, "Sail Day, Captain!", featuring Captain Brant of the Fool's Troupe, becomes permanently available on March 6th. Access requires Union Level 20 and completion of Main Quest Chapter II Act III, ‘What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing.’
Powerful Resonators await! The "Blaze Across the Deep" and "Vermillion's Ploy" banners run from March 6th to 26th. "Blaze Across the Deep" features Brant with boosted drop rates, alongside 4-star Resonators Youhu, Taoqi, and Mortefi. Prefer Changli? "Vermillion's Ploy" is your banner, also featuring the same boosted 4-star Resonators. Brant and Changli are event-exclusive, with their Wavebands available in the Afterglow Coral Store until the banners end.
Two featured weapon banners, "Unflickering Valor" and "Blazing Brilliance," also run from March 6th to 26th. These offer chances at their respective 5-star weapons and 4-star gear including Waning Redshift, Comet Flare, and Marcato.
Events Galore!
Infinite Battle Simulation II (March 6th-27th): Defeat enemies, open supply chests, and earn Tactic Points and Low-Capacity Variables for rewards like Malleable Elite Class Echoes and a Premium Resonance Potion. Requires Union Level 14 and completion of Chapter II Prologue, ‘Through the Sea Thou Break.’
Beyond the Waves (March 13th-27th): A daily exploration event. Complete objectives, collect Adventure Logs, and exchange them for Adventure Packages containing Forgery Premium Supply and Crystal Solvent. Requires Union Level 14.
Bountiful Crescendo (March 20th-27th): A limited-time double-drop event! Spending Waveplates on Simulations or Forgery Challenges yields double rewards.
