The "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" Project Unveiled
Prepare for an exciting wave of Fairy Tail games! Kodansha Game Creators Lab, in collaboration with Hiro Mashima, has announced three new titles under the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" banner, all developed by independent studios and launching on PC.
The lineup includes Fairy Tail: Dungeons, Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, and Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic. Fairy Tail: Dungeons and Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc are set to debut on August 26th and September 16th, 2024, respectively. Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic is currently under development, with more information to come.
"This project started with Hiro Mashima's wish for a Fairy Tail game," Kodansha explained in a recent video announcement. "The developers are creating these games with their passion for Fairy Tail, incorporating their unique skills and vision. These games are designed to appeal to both Fairy Tail fans and gamers alike."
Fairy Tail: Dungeons – Launching August 26, 2024
Embark on a deck-building roguelite adventure in Fairy Tail: Dungeons. Players will navigate dungeons, strategically using a limited number of moves and skill cards to overcome enemies and delve deeper into the mystery.
Developed by ginolabo, the game features a soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta, the composer behind Secret of Mana. The music is described as "Celtic-inspired," creating a dynamic soundscape for battles and story sequences.
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc – Launching September 16, 2024
Get ready for some magical beach volleyball action! Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc offers 2vs2 multiplayer battles, promising a competitive and exciting experience. Choose from a roster of 32 characters to build your dream team. This title is a collaborative effort from tiny cactus studio, MASUDATARO, and veryOK.
