In a recent interview, Mizobe highlighted the demanding PC specifications of Palworld, making a Switch port a considerable challenge. While discussions about potential new platforms are ongoing, Pocketpair currently has no concrete announcements to make regarding future releases.

Despite the technical difficulties, Mizobe remains optimistic about expanding Palworld's reach to new audiences. He previously acknowledged the significant difference in system requirements between the PC and Switch versions. The possibility of PlayStation, other Nintendo platforms, or mobile releases remains unconfirmed. Earlier this year, Mizobe confirmed discussions were underway to bring Palworld to additional platforms. He also clarified that while open to partnerships or acquisitions, Pocketpair hasn't engaged in any buyout talks with Microsoft.

Beyond platform considerations, Mizobe outlined ambitions to significantly enhance Palworld's multiplayer aspects. An upcoming arena mode, described as an experiment, will lay the groundwork for more substantial multiplayer experiences. Mizobe explicitly stated his desire to implement a full-fledged PvP mode, drawing inspiration from the popular survival games Ark and Rust, known for their intricate gameplay, resource management, and player interaction.
