To embark on "In Vino Veritas," locate Casper Rudolf by his drink cart on the east side of Kuttenberg City. Enter through the east gate and head straight to find him effortlessly. Casper's curiosity about the monks' secret wine recipe sets the stage for your adventure. Make sure to exhaust all dialogue options with him to gather information about Havel and a book he left with Adleta, which will guide your initial approach.
To retrieve the book from Adleta, head to the southeast corner of Kuttenberg's inner wall in the morning or afternoon. Here, you'll find an open garden where Adleta spends her time. Before approaching, gather five Marigolds. You can either talk to Adleta before her brother Hugo arrives or seek Hugo's permission to speak with her. Be kind and explain your need for the book on Casper's behalf. You can attempt a skill check to persuade her or offer the Marigolds as a gift in exchange for the book. Once acquired, read it from your inventory for clues.
Alternatively, you can bypass Adleta and head directly to Havel at his inn in Kuttenberg City. Ensure your Charisma is at least 18 by wearing an appropriate outfit and brushing up on your drinking skills. When conversing with Havel, choose these dialogue options to make a good impression:

Find the Monastery’s Secret Ingredient
Next, journey to the vineyard north of Kuttenberg. Speak with the recruiter to initiate the "Under the Straw Hat" side quest, which allows you to explore the vineyard freely. Inside, locate Jerome, usually found on a bench near the main building.
Sneak into the main building, turn left, and enter the storeroom. Use your lockpicking skills to open the chests and retrieve the Sulphur Wicks needed for Casper. For additional Groschen, head to the garden at the back of the main building and collect five seedlings before departing.
If you choose to complete "Under the Straw Hat," engage in tasks such as removing plants around the vines and moving sacks.
