The action-adventure game Brok the InvestiGator is branching out with a standalone visual novel, Brok Natal Tail Christmas. This free prequel explores the Christmas-like holiday "Natal Untail" in Atlasia, focusing on Graff and Ott's festive misadventures, with a little help from Brok himself.
Don't expect beat 'em up action; this is a point-and-click narrative experience, clocking in at roughly an hour. It showcases Cowcat's new Brokvn Engine and a departure from the main game's genre.
Considering it's free and a holiday treat for fans, the short playtime is easily forgiven. Cowcat's willingness to experiment with a new genre is commendable. There's little risk in trying it, unless you actively dislike visual novels.
