IGN's interactive map for **Assassin's Creed Shadows** is now available, providing a comprehensive guide to explore the nine provinces of feudal Japan. This map is an essential tool for tracking every Collectible, Activity, Main Quest, and Side Quest you'll encounter during your journey.
In a departure from previous Assassin's Creed games, **AC Shadows** requires players to **manually uncover** the map. Activating Viewpoints no longer automatically removes the fog of war; instead, you must explore to reveal Landmarks, Collectibles, Activities, and Quests. Thankfully, IGN's interactive map is loaded with **thousands of map points** to assist you in navigating Japan's vast landscape.

IGN's Assassin's Creed Shadows interactive map features detailed filters to help you focus on what matters most during your adventure. Here's what you can filter:
- Collectibles: Including Legendary Chests, Origami Butterflies, Jizo Statues, Legendary Sumi-e, Valuable Objects, Kano Paintings, Kamon Crests, and Cultural Discovery.
- Activities: Such as Kofuns, Shrines, Temple Lost Pages, Kuji-kiri, Kata, Horse Archery, and Hidden Trails.
- Locations: Covering Castles, Viewpoints, Kakuregas, Landmarks, and Hostile Landmarks.
- Services: Including Gear Vendors, Ornament Vendors, and Port Traders.
- Quests: Encompassing Main Story Quests, Side Quests, and Contract Targets.
- Other notable map markers: Including Keys, Samurai Daisho locations, common resource and gear chests, and Stockpiles.
