NetEase Games and Naked Rain's mysterious Project Mugen has finally revealed its official name: Ananta. A new promotional video (PV) and teaser trailer showcase gameplay and offer a more detailed look at this urban, open-world RPG.
The preview video highlights Ananta's sprawling cityscape, Nova City, a diverse cast of characters, and the looming threat of chaotic forces from another realm. While comparisons to MiHoYo's titles, particularly Zenless Zone Zero, are inevitable, Ananta distinguishes itself with impressive character movement. The game promises a blend of charming characters and dynamic combat, a popular formula in today's 3D RPG landscape.
The PV showcases impressive movement mechanics. Whether this translates to seamless traversal across Nova City's streets and rooftops remains to be seen.
