It allows access to information about public representatives, Panchayat committees, schedules, agenda and decisions taken in Gram Sabha meetings, Panchayat budget, and more, enhancing transparency in operations.
• Public participation: MeriPanchayatApp enhances public participation by allowing residents to propose works and activities to be included in the Gram Panchayat Development plan as part of their suggestions. Citizens can also review and rate the activities and works included in the development plans.
• Social audit: The app facilitates social audit of all development works and beneficiaries of various schemes. It allows residents to view the works, their progress, and report the status and quality of works from the location of the work, promoting transparency and accountability.
• Complaint registration: MeriPanchayatApp offers location-based services to registered and authenticated rural residents, allowing them to genuinely register complaints from the complaint location. Complaints can be submitted with evidence in the form of geo-tagged, geo-fenced photos, and allows tracking of the complaints.
