Using the App and Scanner Together:

The app and scanner operate independently; signals are sent to either the phone or the scanner, not both simultaneously. To receive phone alerts, initiate the sensor via the app. Scanner initiation sends signals to the scanner, but the sensor remains scannable with the phone.

Important Note: The app and scanner don't communicate. For complete data in reports, scan the sensor with your chosen device every 8 hours. LibreView.com allows data consolidation from all devices.
