How does emmy work?

Download the app and embark on your moped adventure. The emmy app is your gateway to scooter bliss. Utilize it to locate an electric scooter nearby, reserve it, and unlock it. It's that simple, it's emmy.

emmy handles the rest – we charge the e-scooters, ensuring they're ready to roll. You'll find two helmets of varying sizes and a mobile phone holder for your urban navigation.

Creating your emmy account is a breeze:

1. Download the emmy app and register for €4.95, which includes 15 complimentary minutes.
2. Register and verify your EU driver's license. Once your account is approved, you can ride our electric mopeds.
3. Ride: It's time to roll! Use the app to find an electric moped near you and reserve it for free.
4. End your rental: Park your emmy scooter in a public parking area within our business zone to conclude your rental.

How do you start a emmy electric moped?

1. Open the helmet box: Press the red button and retrieve a helmet from the box.
2. Remove it from the kickstand: Stand with the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
3. Flip the red switch to "ON": Ensure the red switch on the right handlebar is flipped to ON and the side stand is fully folded. If you're riding a Yadea, press the "P-button."
4. Start the engine: To start the moped, simultaneously pull the moped brake to activate it and press the "Down" switch on the left handlebar.

Our fleet of electric mopeds:

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride a NIU scooter. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for urban riding and commuting. The Yadea moped can be spotted roaming the streets of Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.

It's advisable to park mopeds on the street in designated parking areas for mopeds and bikes. Refrain from parking in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.

How much does it cost to rent a emmy moped?

Register for a one-time fee of €4.95 and receive 15 complimentary minutes for your inaugural trip (valid for three months). A moped can be booked for free and reserved for 15 minutes. Unlocking the moped costs €1. Once you start riding, you'll be charged €0.33 per minute. You can pause your ride mid-ride at a reduced rate.
