500 Rum: The Ultimate Online Card Game for Friends and Family

500 Rum (also known as Rummy 500) is a captivating online multiplayer card game perfect for enjoying with friends and family. Challenge players worldwide in online multiplayer matches or create private tables for exclusive games with loved ones.

Played with a standard 52-card deck plus a joker, each player receives 13 cards (in a two-player game) or 7 cards (in three- or four-player games). The objective is to score points by forming sets (cards of the same rank) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit), laying them on the table. The joker acts as a wild card. Points are awarded for melds (sets and sequences) and for laying off cards onto existing melds. Numbered cards (2-10) are worth their face value, while J, Q, K are worth 10 points each, A is 15 points, and the joker takes the value of the card it replaces. The round ends when a player runs out of cards; their score is the total of melds and laid-off cards minus the value of any unmelded cards. The first player to reach or exceed 500 points wins the game. Ties result in an additional round to determine the victor.

Gameplay involves strategic card selection from either the stockpile or discard pile (but you can't discard a card you just drew from the discard pile). Skill and focus are crucial, as players must cleverly utilize cards to maximize their score and outmaneuver opponents. The ability to lay off cards onto existing melds adds a layer of depth and strategic challenge.
