Warzone Fans Alert: Call of Duty Merch Shop Hints at Verdansk Return Next Week

Authore: PatrickUpdate:Apr 15,2025

The highly anticipated return of the iconic Call of Duty Warzone Verdansk map is set to be revealed on March 10, 2025. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this moment since Activision first confirmed that Verdansk would be making a comeback last August, although they were initially only given a tentative "spring 2025" timeframe.

Excitement is building as visitors to the Call of Duty shop are greeted with a pop-up announcing "The Verdansk Collection" and a countdown ending on March 10, 2025. This news, brought to us by InsiderGaming, hints at the imminent return of this beloved map.

The pop-up is accompanied by a striking tri-color sketch depicting an alpine landscape complete with snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane. These elements are instantly recognizable to those who have spent countless hours navigating Warzone's original sandbox. This map was succeeded by Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and then completely replaced by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way to experience Verdansk is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

This news is particularly thrilling for fans who were disheartened to hear back in 2021 that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back." Now, the community is buzzing with anticipation for what's to come.

In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, introducing five new Multiplayer maps — Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind — along with the return of the popular Gun Game mode, new weapons, and operators. A highlight of the season is the high-profile Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event, although it comes with a hefty price tag.

Meanwhile, Warzone has seen a more restrained update as the development team focuses on critical gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements to address ongoing issues within the game.
