Stardew Valley 1.6 Update Coming to Mobile Soon

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated mobile update 1.6 is finally arriving on November 4th, 2024! Following its March 2024 PC release, console and mobile players can now experience this massive expansion.

What's New in Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands multiplayer capabilities, now supporting up to eight players simultaneously – double the previous limit. Collaborate with friends on farming, fishing, and construction projects like never before. Two exciting new fishing festivals, the Trout Derby and SquidFest, join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

Explore the new Meadowlands Farm layout, ideal for livestock and convenient fishing opportunities. Over 100 new NPC dialogues enrich interactions with the town's residents, adding depth to the social experience.

A plethora of new items awaits! Discover the Big Chest (nearly double the capacity of a standard chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy-duty furnace, and a bait maker for crafting specialized fishing lures.

Personalize your farm with new furniture styles and over 25 unique hats. Earn prize tickets by completing quests and participating in festivals, redeemable for rewards at a prize machine in Lewis's house.

Update 1.6 introduces the ability to own multiple pets after maximizing your bond with your initial companion. These pets may bring gifts, and now, you can even adorn them with hats! Observe NPCs sporting winter attire for a seasonal touch.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating the elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Addressing the Delay

The delay in releasing update 1.6 for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, ensuring a smoother launch. November marks the arrival of this highly anticipated content! Prepare for new fishing events, engaging pet interactions, and exciting new crops.
