Sony Updates PS5 and PS4 Systems: Key Features Revealed

Sony has recently rolled out updates for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing various functionalities of these popular gaming consoles.

The PS5's latest update, version 25.02-11.00.00, is a 1.3GB download that brings several improvements. One of the key enhancements is to the activities feature, where activity details are now fully displayed on cards, with potential spoilers cleverly hidden to keep the excitement intact. Additionally, the update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing users to express themselves more vividly in messages. There are also changes to parental controls; setting the restriction level to Late Teens or Older will now automatically default Communication and User-Generated Content to Restrict, although previous settings at this level will remain as Customize. As always, Sony has also improved the system software's performance and stability, alongside enhancing messages and usability on various screens.

For PlayStation 4 users, update 12.50 is more streamlined but still significant. It focuses on improving messages and usability on some screens, ensuring a smoother user experience.
