The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents players with rewarding challenges, but some prove trickier than others. One such challenge requires breaking and repairing an object. This guide details how to accomplish this.
Week 2's challenge necessitates raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher, a relatively straightforward task. The subsequent step, however, repairing a broken object, lacks clear guidance. The solution is to intentionally break an item. While using the "prank" interaction is an option, it requires specific Sim traits, making it less efficient for casual players. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks.
The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive choice. Repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, spraying water. This can be done by your Sim or invited guests. Once broken, the toilet becomes a target for repair.
With your Sim's Handiness at level 2 or above, simply select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. After a short time, the repair is complete, resolving the challenge.
