Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!
Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three international cities:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
- Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th
Further event details will be released in March 2025. Remember, event specifics are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, unique gameplay, and bonuses. In-person attendees will enjoy city-wide activities and exclusive merchandise. Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and themed experiences. Previous events featured legendary Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow.
January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day
Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two more exciting events for January 2025:
Fashion Week: Taken Over:
- Dates: January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time)
- Highlights: Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Encounter the debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon will appear, including Snivy and Tepig. A fashionably dressed Croagunk may appear in snapshots.
Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh:
- Dates: January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time)
- Highlights: Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight additional Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh will have increased appearance rates, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
