NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous gift: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This surprise addition to the battle pass is a welcome treat for players. The season, running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025, sees Dracula attack New York City, prompting the Fantastic Four to step up.
The Fantastic Four's arrival expands the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens. While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins are accessible without purchasing the premium version. Peni Parker's skin is on page three, featuring a striking blue and white design. Scarlet Witch's crimson and purple Emporium Matron skin is on page nine, and includes a free emote (MVP animation requires the premium pass). A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop boasts new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker). Invisible Woman's skin is black and red with spiked accents, while Mister Fantastic's is a dark gray and blue with a masked visage. The abundance of new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
