Launched in October 2023, Ludus: Merge Arena has quickly gained popularity, boasting over 5 million players worldwide and generating nearly $3 million in monthly revenue. This impressive success has prompted publisher Top App Games to announce a major update arriving soon.
The Big Update: Clan Wars
Arriving at the end of March, this update significantly expands clan mechanics with the addition of three new tabs: Clan Shop, Clan Battle Pass, and Clan War. The highlight is Clan War, a two-week event (eight days total) featuring five days of intense battles followed by a three-day wrap-up period.
Victory in Clan Wars hinges on flags. Each player begins with two flags, with premium subscribers receiving an additional flag (starting with three). The Battle Pass provides one or two extra flags, allowing premium players to deploy up to five flags.
These flags are crucial for earning points. Players can use their flags in two ways: standard PvP matches against random opponents, and Assault mode, where they attack enemy base buildings.
Each Clan War pits six clans against each other in a fierce competition. The top 100 clans at the end of the war will receive exclusive rewards, including cosmetic upgrades and a prestigious golden clan name, displayed until the next Clan War begins.
A dedicated Clan Shop will also be introduced, offering items purchasable with a special currency earned during Clan Wars. This highly anticipated update is expected to further boost Ludus: Merge Arena's already impressive player base.
