KLab Revives Upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Game With New Partner

KLab Inc. has revealed an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020, the project, developed in collaboration with Shengqu Games, faced setbacks. However, KLab has announced a relaunch, this time partnering with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing.

Following a period of development challenges, the game is back on track for a global release (excluding Japan) in 2026.

Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

Unfamiliar with the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga? Created by Hirohiko Araki and debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, this popular series has spawned numerous anime adaptations and films. The series features a unique blend of reality and supernatural elements, with storylines ranging from battling ancient vampires to unraveling interdimensional mysteries.

This isn't JoJo's first foray into the gaming world. A Super Famicom RPG launched in 1993, followed by various titles. Popular Android games include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
