King of Fighters ALLSTAR, a popular beat

Netmarble's popular fighting game, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is closing its doors this year. The official announcement on Netmarble forums confirmed the shutdown date: October 30th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been suspended since June 26th, 2024.

This news comes as a surprise, considering the game's positive reception and impressive longevity (over six years). Players consistently praised the game's smooth animations and engaging PvP battles. While developers hinted at a potential lack of new fighters to adapt as a contributing factor, the actual reasons remain largely undisclosed.

The game wasn't without its challenges. Recent optimization issues and unexpected crashes caused frustration among some players. Despite these setbacks, King of Fighters ALLSTAR still managed to achieve millions of downloads across Google Play and the App Store.

If you haven't experienced this action-packed title, you still have approximately four months to jump in and enjoy its legendary battles. Download it from the Google Play Store before the servers shut down in October.
