David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 film Jurassic Park and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth, has revealed an exciting detail about the new movie. In a recent interview with Variety, Koepp shared that he revisited Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novels to refresh his creative process, given that Jurassic World Rebirth does not have a direct novel source to adapt.
Koepp admitted to incorporating elements from the novels into the new film, including a specific sequence from the first Jurassic Park novel that was not included in the original movie due to space constraints. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," Koepp explained. "We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
Although Koepp did not disclose which sequence he revived, this revelation has sparked significant speculation among fans. Several scenes from the novel have been identified as potential candidates for inclusion in Jurassic World Rebirth.
