Long awaited by players across PC and consoles, crossplay is finally coming to Baldur's Gate 3 with Patch 8! While a release date isn't set, a Patch 8 Stress Test in January 2025 will give select players early access to this and other features. This allows Larian Studios to identify and fix bugs before the wider release.

How to Join the Patch 8 Stress Test
Want early access? Register for Larian's Stress Test! This applies to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players. You'll need a Larian account; simply sign in or create one and complete the short registration form. Selection isn't guaranteed, but chosen participants receive an email with further instructions. Feedback will be collected through forms and Discord.
The Stress Test is also crucial for assessing the impact on mods. Mod users and creators are encouraged to participate to ensure compatibility.
Remember, all players in your group must register to test crossplay together. Otherwise, you'll need to wait for the full release in 2025.
