Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal First Month: $16 Million in Revenue
Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue within its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by a staggering 40 times, highlighting the game's immense popularity.
The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it garnered over 5 million downloads, representing over 42% of its total downloads. This remarkable achievement propelled Infinity Nikki to a record-breaking launch week, earning $3.51 million, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue later decreased to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached a monumental $16 million.
Developed by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki launched in December 2024, captivating players with its enchanting Miraland setting and compelling gameplay. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges using magically-enhanced outfits powered by Whimstars. The game's pre-registration numbers also reached an impressive 30 million.
Initial daily revenue peaked at over $1.1 million on December 6th, subsequently fluctuating. A dip to $141,000 on December 26th was followed by a significant rebound to $665,000 on December 30th after the Version 1.1 update, demonstrating the impact of content updates. Note that these figures reflect mobile platform revenue only; earnings from PC and PlayStation 5 versions are not included.
Infinity Nikki is available for free on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. Ongoing seasonal events and updates promise to maintain the game's momentum and continued player engagement.
