Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Reveal Screwllum's Animations
Recent leaks from the Honkai: Star Rail community have unveiled in-game animations for the highly anticipated character, Screwllum (Mechanical Aristocrat Screwllum I). Since its April 2023 launch, Honkai: Star Rail has expanded its roster significantly with each update. While update 2.3 currently features Firefly and Ruan Mei (with a banner re-run), and later Jade and Argenti, leaks suggest Screwllum's debut is still some time away.
Screwllum, a mechanical lifeform and leader of a resistance against Genius Society #27, has already appeared in the main storyline. He's known for his exceptional hacking skills, rivaling Silver Wolf's abilities, and his status as Genius Society member #76 residing on Planet Screwllum. Leaker fireflylover shared these animations, believed to be emotes or menu animations, though the data predates Version 2.0, so changes may have been implemented since.
Screwllum's Kit and Release Date Speculation
Based on previous leaks, Screwllum is anticipated to be an Imaginary-type offensive character. His skill will likely inflict multi-target Imaginary damage, scaling with ATK. His Ultimate is expected to reduce enemy Imaginary damage resistance while attacking all enemies.
However, his release date remains unconfirmed. The recent Special Program didn't announce him, suggesting he won't be available soon. Officially, he's confirmed absent from updates 2.3 and 2.4, which will feature Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is slated for the first limited banner of 2.4, with Jiaoqiu appearing in the second phase. Therefore, players will need to exercise patience before welcoming Screwllum to their teams.
