Following the pre-installation release earlier this week, HoYoverse has launched the highly anticipated Genshin Impact (Free) version 5.0 update, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," across mobile, PC, and PlayStation platforms globally. This major update introduces Natlan, a new region accessible to players of all levels, along with exciting new characters like Mualani, and highly requested character reruns, including Raiden Shogun. The first Genshin Impact 5.0 banner features Mualani, Kachina, and Kaedehara Kazuha, while the second banner showcases Kinich and Raiden Shogun. iOS users who pre-installed the update should experience minimal additional downloads; however, the game may require some time to reorganize existing assets upon login. New players can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store, Google Play, the official website, or the Epic Games Store. iOS users with iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later can utilize PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers. Previously named our Game of the Week upon its release and our 2020 Game of the Year, Genshin Impact also received recognition as one of the best iOS games for controller play.
