Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Tachyon Medal and its Time-Reversing Power

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a visually stunning world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating all existence. The game's captivating narrative and unique mechanics keep players engaged as the stakes escalate.

The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true power is revealed later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal is first mentioned in Shangri-La and is the final item acquired before the final boss encounter. Progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, located in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, reducing your health by 90%. Ensure Kina is prepared for substantial healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest on your right—it contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These three stars appear in eight locations, with the first two encountered during the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat the bosses in the prescribed order. After their final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door. It prompts you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time, initiating NG+ from this point. All levels, items, and equipment are retained. While enemies become more powerful, this shouldn't pose significant difficulty, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal awards the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
