While the main storyline in Rinascita unfolds across the region, several compelling locations are reserved for exploration quests. "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" is one such quest, challenging players to subdue a powerful storm in Rinascita's northeastern corner.
Although optional, completing this quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Wuthering Waves Nightmare Echo is trapped within the storm-ravaged ruins of Fagaceae Peninsula. Prepare for a substantial challenge; equip your strongest Resonators and get ready for an extended adventure.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct on the ground. The quest objectives are:
- Energize three steles at designated locations.
- Return to and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Energizing the Steles
The Discipline Steles on the marked altars gradually charge while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process will slow progress, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from an altar will cause its energy to deplete.
Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects to your advantage during combat.
For the third stele set, quickly position them before enemy spawns. If grabbing the broken steles proves difficult, adjust your character and camera angles until the interaction prompt appears.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your Wingray to return to the starting area and unleash your team's most potent Resonators on the Lumiscale Construct. A cutscene will initiate after significantly reducing its health, prompting you to follow it deeper into the ruins.
The environment becomes increasingly hazardous during the chase. Beware of falling debris and lightning strikes, eliminating all enemies encountered. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits, offering the opportunity for its permanent defeat.
The Dragon of Dirge
This formidable enemy can inflict devastating stunlocks or even one-shot characters. Evade its breath attacks and falling stars, aiming for quick stuns. The optimal strategy involves waiting for its major attacks to conclude before attempting a swift stun.
Victory over the dragon completes the quest, granting access to the remainder of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
