Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan are teaming up to bring fans something truly thrilling based on the beloved anime, Overlord. They're preparing for the global launch of Lord of Nazarick, a turn-based RPG and the official mobile game of the Overlord series.
The Overlord mobile game, Lord of Nazarick, is slated for release on Android devices this fall, with a targeted launch month of December 2024. This exciting launch aligns perfectly with the theatrical release of Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, which will premiere in U.S. and Canadian cinemas during the fall of 2024.
For fans in the EMEA and Latin America regions, Crunchyroll has secured certain rights, though specific release dates have yet to be announced. Nonetheless, Lord of Nazarick will be free to play and is currently open for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Features of the Upcoming Overlord Mobile Game
Lord of Nazarick draws its essence from the iconic tale of Momonga, the everyday salaryman who finds himself trapped within the virtual realm of his favorite MMORPG, Yggdrasil. This game is a treat for Isekai enthusiasts, as it allows players to experience the life of Momonga, now known as the powerful Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown.
Players will immerse themselves in new, canon storylines crafted exclusively for the game. The gameplay promises a dynamic experience with roguelite dungeons, thrilling boss challenges, and engaging mini-games. You'll have the opportunity to recruit over 50 characters from the anime, including the guardians and Pleiades, and explore iconic locations such as the Great Tomb of Nazarick and Carne Village.
The game also supports cooperative play, allowing you to team up with friends or join alliances. Additionally, there's a competitive PVP mode for those looking to test their skills against others.
