Exciting news for fans of the original Crashlands: Crashlands 2 is now available on Android and other platforms, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. Since its predecessor's release in 2016, which was a major success and attracted millions of players, the anticipation for the sequel has been immense.
So, What’s Different in Crashlands 2?
You reprise your role as the space-trucker Flux Dabes, the same disgruntled shipping representative from the first game. Flux returns to the planet Woanope for a much-needed break after enduring the endless demands of the Bureau of Shipping.
Upon landing, Flux is greeted with an unexpected explosion, stranding him in a new area, far from familiar faces, equipped with only a few gadgets and his quirky instincts to survive. This time, Woanope feels more vibrant and alive, teeming with creatures and diverse biomes filled with random encounters and opportunities, such as luring a Trunkle into a booby-trapped field.
In Crashlands 2, every character you meet, aside from Flux, is either an alien or a robot, and the game is packed with humorous, pun-filled item names, amplifying the humor from the original game.
Combat mechanics have been enhanced, and base-building is now more intricate, featuring tall walls, legitimate roofs, and cozy corners perfect for crafting and farming. Building relationships with the aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, making the friendship mechanic a crucial part of your journey. Additionally, you can now raise pets by finding eggs, hatching them, nurturing them, and having them fight alongside you.
A Sci-Fi Survival with Unhinged Alien Adventures
In Crashlands 2, you'll soon discover that being blasted out of orbit was no mere accident. As you explore the world and interact with the locals, you'll unravel a larger mystery and uncover the forces at play behind the scenes.
If you enjoyed the first game and are eager to dive into this sequel, you can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store.
